SEITIES Terms and Conditions

Acknowledgement and Acceptance of Terms

By submitting work to seities.ca you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement, you should immediately cease any submissions through this website. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update the terms and conditions of this agreement without prior notice. Modifications shall become effective immediately upon being posted at seities.ca.

Submission Terms and Guidelines

*Please note SEITIES is primarily printed in B+W {tinted + toned plates + prints and polaroids will be printed in colour }

~A maximum of 10 images will be considered for cover and theme submission with the one time free submission.
~Competition donations are not included in this submission, but are included in the $140 Membership fee.
~A maximum of 16 images for each issue will be considered for the Memberships for Photographers for the cover, theme and competition submissions.
~Image sizes should be minimum 6×9 inches at 300DPI and maximum 9×12 inches at 300DPI. Titled as per the Submission Form.
~Scanned images from negatives/prints/plates are most welcome for all submissions.
~Seities only accepts photography created using alernative and traditional methods of production.’plate-polaroid’
~Seities has the right to deny any work that has been extremely digitally altered with computer software.
~Submissions must be received one month prior to the issue’s publication date.
~If submitting by mail, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope if you wish to have your submission returned to you

Limitation of Liability

Seities Studio shall not be liable for any damages. Seities Studio shall not be liable for any special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, or damages for lost profits, loss of revenue, or loss of use, arising out of or related to this website or information contained in it. Seities Studio shall not be liable for any damages that may occur during shipping, handling, storing or displaying of images.

You are responsible for all of your content uploaded to our website. You must have legal right to copy, distribute and display all parts of any content that you submit, download and otherwise copy, distribute and display. Content provided to you by others, or made available through websites, magazines, books and other sources, are protected by copyright and should not be uploaded, downloaded, or otherwise copied, distributed or displayed without the consent of the copyright owner or as otherwise permitted by law. By submitting your work, you are giving Seities Studio permission to publish and use all content on the website, gallery and magazine.

You agree NOT TO use the Service for the following:

~for any unlawful purposes;
~to upload, post, or otherwise transmit any material that infringes any copyright, trade mark, patent or other intellectual property right or any moral right or artist’s right of any third party including, but not limited to, Seities Studio;
~to harm minors in any way, including, but not limited to, uploading, posting, or otherwise transmitting content that violates child pornography laws, child sexual exploitation laws or laws prohibiting the depiction of minors engaged in sexual conduct, or submitting any personally identifiable information about any child under the age of 13;
~to forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any Content transmitted through the Service;
~to upload, post, or otherwise transmit any material which is likely to cause harm to Seities or anyone else’s computer systems, including but not limited to that which contains any virus, code, worm, data or other files or programs designed to damage or allow unauthorized access to the Service which may cause any defect, error, malfunction or corruption to the Service;
~to sell access to the Service on any other website or to use the Service on another website for the primary purpose of gaining advertising or subscription revenue other than a personal blog or social network where the primary purpose is to display content from Seities by hyperlink and not to compete with Seities.

Our website may include links to other sites on the Internet that are owned and operated by online merchants and other third parties. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the availability of, or the content located on or through, any third-party site. You should contact the site administrator or webmaster for those third-party sites if you have any concerns regarding such links or the content located on such sites. Your use of those third-party sites is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of each site, and we are not responsible therein.
